You can ask us to delete your EpsilonPAY account and personal data at any time. The quickest way is inside the app. This page is for people who no longer have access to the app, and it also satisfies Google Play's account deletion requirement.
Send the request from your registered email address if possible.
How to delete your account
- Inside the EpsilonPAY consumer app: open Profile, select Delete account, confirm the warning, and complete any required authentication.
- Inside the EpsilonPAY Merchant app: open Settings, select Delete account, confirm the warning, and complete any required authentication.
- Outside the app: email abudustephen72@gmail.com with your registered email, phone number, account type, and confirmation that you want deletion.
Before deletion can be completed
We may need to verify your identity first, and close out anything still open on your account: pending transactions, disputes, unfinished merchant settlements, chargebacks, investigations, active POS sessions, or legal holds. If any of these apply to you, we will explain what happens next.
What will be deleted or de-identified
Deleted or de-identified where not legally required
- Account profile details such as name, email, phone, username, and EpsilonPAY ID.
- Push notification tokens and inactive device links.
- Optional Palm Pay templates and palm linking status.
- Linked Mobile Money and bank payout details, and provider mandate tokens, where no longer needed.
- Support data that is no longer needed for disputes, safety, or audit.
- Merchant staff access that belongs to the deleted user.
Retained where required
- Transaction, ledger, receipt, settlement, refund, tax, and accounting records.
- KYC, KYB, AML, sanctions, risk, and audit records required by law or partners.
- Fraud, security, chargeback, and dispute records.
- Records needed to comply with court orders, regulators, payment providers, banks, mobile-money operators, or card-network obligations.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge a deletion request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days where legally and operationally possible. Some regulated records, such as transaction, KYC, tax, and dispute records, have to be kept for up to seven years, sometimes longer, because the law requires it.
Deleting only some data
You can also ask us to unlink Palm Pay, remove a push token, correct account information, close a merchant staff profile, or access your data without deleting the entire account. Email support with the specific request.
